How to Make Margaret E.’s Awesome Protein Bars


  • 2 Cups Peanut or Almond butter
  • 1 3/4 Cup Warm Honey
  • 2 1/2 Cups DotFit Protein Powder (Vanilla or Chocolate)
  • 3 Cups Rolled Oats
  • (Optional) Raisins, Nuts, Dark Chocolate Chips, Dried Fruit


  • 1. First warm honey in microwave 20 – 40 seconds.
  • 2. Mix all ingredients in bowl (the mixture is thick, so it’s much easier to use a heavy duty mixer if you’ve got one, than to mix by hand – unless you are looking for a good workout!)
  • 3. Press mixture onto waxed paper lined cookie sheet.
  • 4. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  • 5. Cut into 2 inch squares.
  • 6. Keep refrigerated!
